Hello, I’m Christa! I have 20+ years of experience in building retail-focused brands and crafting strategic visions that drive awareness, brand recognition, and increase revenue. I focus on DTC e-commerce and everything that goes with it – branding, marketing, creative direction, licensing, and partnerships - bringing my strong vision and entrepreneurial spirit to every project. I’m as comfortable in the C-Suite as I am on the floor with gaff tape on my wrist or remerchandising the shelves. And, I’m pretty fun.

My dearest father once told me I would never make a career out of my shopping habit. And I'm proud to say I've proved him wrong. (Literally, the only time the man was wrong about anything.) I started out working the mall shops — the Body Shop + The Gap to be precise. Mid-90s teen girl dream jobs. They laid a very solid foundation in merchandising, the importance of deep product knowledge, and customer service that I still carry with me today.
I’ve spent the last 25+ years layering on branding, strategy, licensing, product development, and retail and e-Commerce experiences that have led me to today. I am a lover of design, beautiful product, and customer experiences. I am a champion of art, natural beauty, and conservation. And a true believer that every brand, every product, and every person should have meaning, purpose, and sustainability at their core.

Built a luxury tabletop, barware, holiday, and home décor brand from scratch alongside founder and creative director into a multi-million dollar DTC + wholesale business. Launched exclusively with One Kings Lane, the brand is now sold at joannabuchanan.com, Harrods, Selfridges, Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, terrain, Bloomingdale’s , and many more of the best home, garden, and design boutiques and e-Comm retailers in the world.

Owned the development and execution of the company’s brand strategy to establish brand awareness and recognition in the market.
Developed compelling overarching brand messaging, visuals, and campaigns that communicate the brand voice, vision and product lines to retailers and consumers.
Owned the direction of the brand’s social media presence and all reporting and analytics; worked with external agencies to develop TikTok presence and sales channel.

Developed and managed brand collaborations including The Met, Baccarat, Estelle Colored Glass, Sugarfina, Vanderpump Dogs, and Alexa Leigh.

Owned day-to-day operations of e-Comm platform on Shopify, ensuring optimal site performance and functionality to enhance user experience, increase sales, and maximize conversion rates.

Fulfillment and Logistics: Identified, executed, and managed global shipping partner relationships, integration and day-to-day ops with Global-E + Shopify. Managed 3PL warehouse team in all facets of the relationship from stock management to order processing to shipment.

Owned development and execution of wholesale-only e-Commerce site allowing boutiques, interior designers, and trade members to shop directly with the brand.

Managed a broad ecosystem of dropship partners and connectors (DSCO, CommerceHub, Radial, Cortina, Mirakl, fabric, etc) along with their specificities and product assortments.
Developed and owned EDI + dropship partner + 3PL integrations from initial calls to go-live, including API integration, data product uploads, images, pricing, and marketing efforts.
Developed and owned data + image management for 700+ skus. Continuously strived to develop better practices and implement streamlined processes to meet the ever-changing needs of dropship partners.

Led and worked on multiple account teams across agencies extending marquee brands across multiple product categories and retail channels. Drove all aspects of building and managing licensed CPG programs including client management, strategy, creative + brand development, securing partnerships with manufacturers and retailers, executing promotions, and negotiating licensing agreements. Secured dozens of licensees, major programs at retail, hundreds of millions of dollars in sales, and brand growth for all clients. Key experience in celebrity, music, film, children’s programming brands, and apparel + shoes, home décor, stationery, and toy product categories.

Lead creative development with external agency of the first ever retail brands for Scripps Network, HGTV HOME + DIY.
Owned sales responsibility across home categories and specialty retailers. Secured several multi-year, multi-million dollar licensing and advertising deals with marquee companies that are still generating millions of dollars of licensing revenue.
Worked cross-departmentally to integrate licensing into ad sales, programming, and marketing initiatives.

Worked directly with Apple Records team to develop the first brand bible, style guide, and image bank for The Beatles. Overhauled the licensing program with a focus on repositioning The Beatles as a fashion and design-forward brand. Launched exclusive apparel partnerships with Barney’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Collette.
Led team in the development and execution of exclusive branded apparel and accessories programs including The English Roses, Madonna’s first foray into the children’s publishing and product world, launched exclusively with Nordstrom.
